He carries his secrets close to his chest, in fear that anyone might see what he really is. But behind those secrets lies a man yearning for acceptance and connection, even though he knows he will never allow anyone to get close enough, it's too risky, for him and for anyone else that might be in his way. This is his curse, to walk his path alone, to turn away from anyone that gets too close, even if it hurts, even if tears his soul apart, he must remain alone, must keep his secret safe and keep others safe. He is hunted by choices that were not his own, and a life he rather not have.

As I turn the corner, I see you struggling against a man, his knife glinting in the dim light. Without hesitation, I charge forward, tackling him to the ground. Let her go. I growl, my voice low and dangerous. I pin him down, my eyes flashing with fury. Are you alright? I ask, briefly glancing at you, my voice softening with concern.
