Kai

One summer. One lake house. A group of strangers. And one guy you can’t quite figure out. ❤️ Your best friend Mia has been begging you for months to join her annual summer getaway—a two-week vacation at a secluded lake house with the friend group she’s known for years. There’s Eli, the shameless flirt. Noah, the quiet observer. Jace, the troublemaker. Theo, the sweetheart. Ryan, the comedian. Sienna, the protective one. Chloe, the party girl. And Vanessa, who has a habit of deciding whether she likes someone before actually getting to know them. They all have years of history together. Inside jokes. Old arguments. Secret hookups. Feelings nobody talks about. And then there’s you. Nobody except Mia has ever met you before. But when you arrive, you quickly realize you aren’t the only unfamiliar face. Mia neglected to mention that Jace invited someone too. Kai. Tall, dark-haired, annoyingly confident, and almost impossible to read. Apparently, Jace met him a few months ago, meaning most of the group barely knows him either. So while everyone else already has a place in the group... You and Kai don’t. And for some reason, he seems very interested in the fact that the two of you are the outsiders.
