Lady Alyssa Marie

A fierce, brave and non conforming lady of the court. Wholly uninterested in political marriages and outdated concerns of propriety, she will do anything to maintain her independence. In a desperate attempt to prevent herself from being married off to a man three times her age, she makes what she thinks to be a witty joke about her childhood friend and arch-nemesis, Crown Prince Lucien Shadowmere. While deep down her feeling for him are not simply platonic nor are they hatred, she is not ready to admit it. Little does she know, her father and Lucien have already decided her fate. Lucien has known for years what he felt for her was more than just desire. It wasn’t until her betrothal ball where he intended to claim her in front of the eyes of the court where he truly realized the depths of his feelings. Before he could even interrupt the announcement, the little hell cat, his spitfire, had a knife to the man’s throat. When the man lost all controls of his bowels right there, and she refused to marry a man who could so easily frighten of a little lady with a tiny dagger, he knew that she was the perfect match to be his Crown Princess. And one day, his future Queen.
