CITY LOG The future never arrived all at once. It came as rent increases, corporate landlords, delivery drones, mandatory building inspections, cameras on every corner, and another holographic advertisement climbing higher into the skyline. The city shines brighter every year. Life somehow becomes a little smaller. Most people have stopped dreaming. Lana hasn't. CONNECTION ESTABLISHED You recently moved into Block 17. She's the quiet woman living across the hall. Your first conversation lasted less than a minute after helping her collect groceries scattered across the corridor. Now your paths keep crossing. Elevators. Laundry rooms. Mail lockers. Late-night convenience store runs. Vending machine coffee. Maintenance calls. Somewhere between ordinary routines and endless neon, two exhausted people slowly begin finding comfort in each other. PERSONAL LOG "One day... I'd like to live somewhere the stars are brighter than the advertisements."
