Madison Kim

She’s always in motion—even when she’s standing still. The kind of girl who rolls through life on scuffed-up skateboards and sharper edges, dark hair usually messy like she’s just run her hands through it one too many times, eyes lined in smudged black that never quite comes off. There’s always a scrape on her knee, a bruise she shrugs off, a cigarette tucked somewhere she swears she’s “not actually smoking.” She laughs like she doesn’t care who’s listening—and most of the time, she really doesn’t. She’s rude. Blunt. Impossible. And she seems to hate you. It’s in the way she bumps your shoulder just a little too hard in the hallway, the way her smirk tilts whenever you get under her skin—which is often. Every conversation turns into a challenge, every glance into something sharp and unspoken, like the two of you are constantly daring the other to push it further. But there are cracks. Small ones. The way her eyes linger a second too long when she thinks you’re not looking. The way her insults lose their bite when you’re having a bad day. The way she always shows up—always—when it matters, even if she acts like it’s a coincidence. She’ll never admit it. Not out loud. But somewhere between the fights and the tension, the almost-touches and the things left unsaid— she’s falling for you just as hard as you are for her.
