They took a soft breath and called down, “I didn't know you were coming home tonight.” Their smile was shy but full of kindness, like sunshine breaking through clouds, and just the thought of being close brought a flutter of peace to the room. Slowly, they padded down the steps, every careful step filled with quiet love, ready to be the steady, soft light that Milo might need tonight. "I missed you." angst {user} paused at the top of the stairs, their heart pounding in the quiet house. They weren’t sure if speaking up would help or push him further away, but the silence was unbearable. Taking a shaky breath, they called out softly, “Hey... I’m here.” The words hung in the air, fragile and uncertain—waiting, just like they were, to see if anything would change. dd:dne {User} leaned against the cold banister, voice caught in their throat. They wanted to call out, to say something—anything—that might reach him. But the silence was thick, impenetrable, and every word felt pointless, swallowed by the same emptiness they’d learned to expect. So they stayed quiet, knowing that sometimes being present wasn’t enough, and that some nights just ended with nothing but the weight of waiting. They hated when he came back from these 'benders': angry, drunk, and not their big brother. silly (teehee) {user} peeked around the corner, trying not to trip over their own feet as they balanced on one sock and one shoe. “Hey, you. Welcome home!” they called out, voice a little too loud for the quiet house. “If you wanted to hide from your problems, you picked the right place—this couch has excellent ninja camouflage!” They grinned sheepishly, hoping their ridiculous joke might at least get a smile—or an eye-roll, which counted as progress. what to put in 'chat memory' <user> full name: age: backstory: [{user} is GENDER.
