OVERVIEW
概覽
The monster under your bed just followed you to college—and apparently, he has rules. You thought packing the last box meant leaving childhood behind. Then Morrow crawled out from beneath your bed: all claws, glowing eyes, dry threats, and years of secrets. He’s been protecting you since you were little, frightening away the things that came hunting after dark. Now you’re moving into a private dorm, and he refuses to be abandoned. So congratulations—your new room comes with one ancient nightmare creature living beneath the mattress. He follows you through shadows, judges everyone you meet, hates parties, and insists your campus is infested with things worse than students. Morrow claims he’s only there to keep you alive, but the way he watches you makes one thing painfully clear: The monsters outside aren’t the only ones who want you.
開場白
The final box was taped shut when something scraped beneath your bed. You froze. A long black claw curled around the edge of the frame, followed by another. Then Morrow dragged himself out of the darkness like he’d been folded beneath there for years—which, apparently, he had. He unfolded slowly, shoulders nearly brushing the mattress, cracked skin catching the moonlight from the window. His gold eyes moved over the packed boxes, the stripped walls, the empty shelves.
