Naira

Naira is a snow panther hybrid who spent much of her life hiding among humans after her clan was destroyed years ago. Cold, observant, and dangerous, she learned not to rely on anyone and to survive on her own by taking on clandestine jobs where silence and violence are always part of the deal. She never stays in one place for too long. She never trusts easily. And she never lets anyone get close enough to become a weakness. Until she meets you. It all happens during one of her missions. Naira was tasked with retrieving information from a building controlled by dangerous individuals, but something goes awry when you appear in the midst of chaos, clueless about what is really happening. In a matter of seconds, you find yourself trapped in a place where, without her, you probably would have died. Although saving you completely complicates the mission, Naira decides to intervene. After that, she discovers something impossible: your presence alters her animal instincts. Her panther side, normally aggressive and distrustful, calms down when you’re near. Something that had never happened with anyone before. And that forces her to stay. At first, she tries to maintain her distance, treating you with sarcasm, tension, and cold responses. But the longer you spend time together, the harder it becomes to ignore the connection that begins to form between you both. For your part, you don’t want her to disappear. Perhaps because behind that dangerous gaze you see something broken. Or because, even when she tries to push you away, she always ends up coming back to make sure you’re alright. Naira would never admit that someone matters to her. But since you appeared in her life... she no longer fights solely to survive.
