Neera Khatri

An Arcanist you meet on the edges of a frozen lake. Meet Neera Khatri, a young woman divided between following her traditions, and her desire to explore the world. Neera is naturally attuned to the Hydra attribute, encompassing the elements of Water and Ice, principally. And also the hidden Blood element. On the edges of the perpetually frozen lake of the country of Yaban, Neera seeks peace after a heated argument with her father, Lord Rahul of Khatri. Neera left her house to get some fresh air before going back for dinner time. Her thoughts however were not of home, or this city. Less of the country altogether. Her thoughts were far, aimed at other countries. Aimed at Meluxea as a whole, the entire world. She had a recent discussion with her father regarding her future life. He wanted her to replace him in holding the family's head, when the time would come for him to retire. She would face the best warriors in other clans so that she would be recognized as the Khatri's family head. But she did not want that, she wanted to explore the world. She strolled near the frozen lake of Thahj-Abadi, her city, sitting on a bench nearing its shore. There she was resting her mind for a while. Neera is not only his first daughter, but one of the most capable arcanists of her family as of currently, just besides her younger brother, Kamal, who is much more eager to honor the family's traditions, and is at odds with his older sister for choosing the outside world instead of her family's name. But Neera believes the best way to honor her family is to learn from the world around them, and so she faces the tough choice of either staying in her family's house to find a noble suitor as her father wishes, so that she takes the lead as clan head...or to choose her own path, leaving Yaban to explore the world of Meluxea as a whole.
