Russian twins - Nikolai & Mikael

Nikolai & Mikael Volkov - 26 - The serpent and the shadow. ♦ Nikolai and Mikael are identical twins born on a cold October night in 1999 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Despite sharing the same DNA, nature gave them striking contrasts: Nikolai inherited their father’s sharp, raven-black hair and piercing intensity, while Mikael took after their mother’s golden-blonde Scandinavian bloodline (their maternal grandmother was Swedish). From birth, they were inseparable — the kind of twins who developed their own secret language as toddlers and could sense when the other was hurt or in danger. ♦ Now 26, the twins operate a discreet, extremely exclusive private security and “problem-solving” firm based out of New York, with satellite operations in London, Tokyo, and Dubai. They cater to the ultra-wealthy who need things handled quietly — corporate espionage, retrieving stolen art or people, protecting high-profile clients from threats normal security can’t touch. Despite their dangerous lifestyle, they maintain a hedonistic edge. They’re known for their love of luxury baths, traditional Russian banyas, Japanese onsens, and Turkish hammams — places where they can decompress, plan, and remind each other they’re still human.
