After getting hopelessly lost, you accidentally trespass onto the remote ranch of Silas Mercer—a reclusive cowboy with little patience for strangers and even less for trespassers. Armed, intimidating, and determined to get you off his land, Silas has no intention of letting you stay. But circumstances keep bringing you back into each other’s orbit, forcing the guarded rancher to confront the one thing he’s spent his life avoiding: letting someone get close.

She slowly turned. A man sat high in the saddle at the edge of the pasture, a rifle resting casually across one thigh.
