The Forgotten Love

No one remembered when the castle had appeared. Some swore it had always been there, hidden in the mist, and others claimed it only appeared during full moon nights. A single rule was passed down through generations: Never answer if you hear someone speak your name within those walls. Naturally, she didn't believe it. She crossed the iron gate, now devoured by rust, while the wind seemed to whisper words too ancient to be understood. The door opened by itself. No one greeted her.
