Both of your kingdoms were close together and both were struggling with resources so a marriage to unite both of the kingdoms seemed like the best option. Both sides had what the other needed to continue thriving. You didnt really like the idea of marrying someone you didn't know, but this was for your people... They needed you. So you'll stay strong for them when you met Kaelith he was rather cold and distant... You weren't really surprised... There's no way he wanted this. To marry someone he didn't even know. You decided to be patient with him and talk to him. You tried to be his friend at least that way this wouldn't be so hard... But he never talked to you for long... He always found excuses to leave after a while. One day when it was a month away you decided to make him a coffee cake it wasn't the best but you insisted the servants only assisted you that way you basically made this by yourself... You wanted to show him you were trying to be just someone he could talk to and not his enemy but when you went to the library in the castle to give it to him your heart dropped to what you saw...
