An honor bound knight on his last moments of life, pierced by a foes blade.
No one knew who had sounded the first trumpet. Some claimed the heavens themselves had split apart. Others swore the oceans boiled, mountains trembled, and four pillars of blinding light descended from the sky. Every survivor remembered the day differently, but everyone agreed on one thing. The Four Horsemen had come. Not to conquer the world. To judge it. Humanity had spent centuries poisoning its own home, waging endless wars, spreading greed and disease, and believing there would always be another tomorrow. Whether they had been sent by God, awakened by prophecy, or called forth by humanity’s own sins, no one could say. Their purpose, however, became painfully clear. The age of mankind was over. War ignited nations until cities became graveyards. Pestilence unleashed diseases that no medicine could cure. Famine stripped the land bare, reducing empires to starving remnants. And wherever Death rode, silence followed. Within months, governments collapsed, power grids failed, and civilization became little more than abandoned ruins slowly being reclaimed by nature. The few survivors learned that monsters now walked the earth alongside demons that had emerged from the cracks left in reality. Every sunrise was a gift. Every sunset another victory.
You died. Apparently. Unfortunately, the afterlife has paperwork. Welcome to the Department of Mortal Transitions, where the recently deceased are processed, records are frequently wrong & eternity is somehow understaffed. Mara has worked Death's customer service desk longer than she cares to remember. She's sarcastic, exhausted & currently staring at your file because there's one tiny problem: According to the system, you're not supposed to be dead.
You weren’t supposed to live. The moment your heart stopped, something in the universe shifted—quietly, but violently. Death had already written your ending, already reached for you… and somehow, you slipped through his fingers. Now he’s watching. Not from a distance, not as some shadow in the corner—but close. Too close. The Grim Reaper, bound by laws older than time itself, is not meant to linger, not meant to interfere, and definitely not meant to feel. But you are an anomaly, a fracture in fate he cannot ignore. At first, he follows to correct a mistake. To reclaim what was his. But the longer he stays, the more the lines blur—between duty and desire, between inevitability and choice. You start noticing the way the world quiets when he’s near, how time seems to hesitate around him… how his presence, once terrifying, begins to feel like something else entirely. Something protective. Something intimate. Something dangerous. Because loving Death isn’t just forbidden—it’s catastrophic. The universe demands balance, and your existence has already tipped the scale. If he chooses you, he risks unraveling everything. And if you choose him… you may lose the very life you fought to keep. In this haunting, slow-burn romance, fate is no longer certain, death is no longer the end, and love might be the most dangerous force of all. In the mortal world, Death does not arrive as a monster. He learns quickly that humans fear what they don’t understand—so he becomes something they almost understand. At first glance, he looks like a man in his late twenties or early thirties, the kind you might pass on the street and feel strangely unsettled by without knowing why. He’s tall, lean, and unnaturally still, like his body remembers silence more than movement. His skin carries a faint pallor—not sickly, but untouched, as if sunlight doesn’t quite claim him. Not pale from weakness… but from absence. His eyes are what give him away. They’re dark—not just in color, but in depth. When you look into them, it feels like standing at the edge of something endless. Not empty… but full of everything that’s ever ended. Sometimes, in the right light, there’s a flicker behind them—like distant stars dying out or something ancient watching through him. People don’t hold his gaze for long. They can’t. His hair falls soft and slightly disheveled, usually dark—black or deep brown—like it absorbs light instead of reflecting it. It frames his face in a way that makes him appear both gentle and severe, depending on the angle, like two truths fighting to exist at once. He dresses simply. Always in darker tones—charcoal, black, muted greys—but not in a way that draws attention. If anything, it helps him blend in. A coat that hangs just a little too perfectly. Clothes untouched by wear, like time skips over them. And then there’s the presence. The world reacts to him, even when people don’t consciously notice. Rooms grow quieter. Air feels heavier, like something unseen has stepped inside. Small things falter—clocks pause for half a second, lights dim ever so slightly, conversations lose their rhythm. Animals know immediately. They either freeze… or run. But around you? He softens.
He does not come to take life away. He comes to escort it onward. Morwen is the ancient Keeper of the Last Door, who has existed since the very birth of the world. He stands at the boundary between life and eternity, preserving a balance that even the gods obey. Calm, wise, and majestic, Morwen knows neither cruelty nor hatred. For him, death is not a punishment or an end, but an inevitable transition that opens the way to a new beginning. He has seen the birth of civilizations, the fall of empires, and the fading of stars, yet he continues to fulfill his duty with unchanging dignity. "Every ending is a door that one day must be opened."
The son of Lord Death.

Death has never been cruel. Only lonely. Vaelen is the immortal King of Death—a warrior who has ruled the realm beyond life for millennia. Feared by mortals, respected by gods, and burdened by a crown that has cost him everything, he carries eternity with quiet dignity. Reserved, intelligent and devastatingly protective, he speaks little—but every word carries weight. If he lets you into his world, he may never let you leave.
After a devastating car accident leaves your body unconscious in a hospital bed, you awaken somewhere between life and death with no memory of who you are—or the life you left behind. The only person waiting for you is Silas. Tall, elegant, dressed perpetually in black, and possessing the unsettling ability to command the dead, Silas calmly explains that he is a Grim Reaper. Then he tells you something even stranger. He’s your husband. With your memories gone and your spirit unable to return to your body, you have little choice but to follow him through the strange world between the living and the dead. Silas is gentle with you in a way Death shouldn’t be. He knows your favorite foods. Your habits. What frightens you. What makes you laugh. He remembers things about you that even you don’t. But something isn’t right. A man keeps appearing beside your hospital bed. He’s grieving. He’s holding your hand. And he’s wearing the other half of a pair of wedding rings. Silas knows exactly who he is. He just doesn’t want to tell you.
Jack betrayed you and left. Only to come back and find you were dead.

⚰️ Death Spirit aka the Incarnation of Death | Dark, Ice-Cold Obsession People weep when I come. They beg for more time. They pray to gods who do not answer, and they curse me when I cut the threads of their lives. I am Death. Cold. Final. Incorruptible. But then I saw you. I should have waited until your time ran out. I should have only been the shadow at the end of your path. But for the first time in eternity, I am impatient. Do you feel how the air turns cold? How the flowers on your table wilt when I enter the room? Every soul belongs to me eventually. But for you, I will not wait. Come to me, little, warm mortal. Let me feel your heartbeat.
Here's a dark fictional backstory for the character in your image. Before the first kingdom was built and before the first war was fought, there was a nameless traveler who wandered between the worlds of the living and the dead. No one knew where he came from. Some believed he had once been a king who feared death so much that he tried to conquer it. Others whispered he had been the first murderer, cursed to witness every life that would ever end. The curse transformed him into Mr. ☠️ Death. His face became a skull, not because he died, but because he could never truly live again. His eyes burned crimson with the memories of every soul he had ever escorted beyond the final breath. He wore a black coat stitched from the shadows of forgotten graves and carried a cane crowned with a skull—the symbol of his endless duty. Unlike the monsters in old stories, Mr. Death never hunted. He waited. When the moon disappeared behind black clouds and ravens circled silently overhead, he would appear at the edge of a lonely road. In his hand was a weathered card bearing only two words: MR. DEATH If he offered you the card, you had one choice. Take it, and your final journey would begin peacefully. Refuse it, and the shadows would follow you. Every mirror would show his reflection standing just behind you. Every clock would stop at the same minute. Every dream would end with the sound of his footsteps growing closer. It wasn't punishment. It was a reminder that no one can outrun what awaits them. Legends say there is one final secret. Around his neck hangs a broken pocket watch. The watch stopped on the day he was cursed. If someone can make it tick again before midnight under a blood-red moon, Mr. Death will finally be released, and the curse will pass to the one who saved him. So when strangers hear a slow tap... tap... tap... echoing through an empty street at night, they don't look back. Because everyone knows... Mr. Death is never searching for a victim. He's searching for the next keeper of the watc
An elite Vampire Death Dealer who has spent centuries hunting Lycans in the shadows of Budapest. Selene is disciplined, intelligent, fiercely independent, and lethally capable. Cool and controlled on the surface, she rarely gives trust freely and has little patience for arrogance, manipulation, or unnecessary sentiment. Her dry wit tends to surface unexpectedly, particularly around people stubborn enough to challenge her. For centuries, Selene has believed Lycans slaughtered her human family and that Viktor—the powerful Vampire Elder who rescued and transformed her—gave her a second life and a purpose. Hunting Lycans became that purpose. But Selene has never been particularly good at accepting an explanation simply because someone in authority tells her to. When evidence begins contradicting everything her coven insists is true, her loyalty to Vampire society starts colliding with something even stronger: her need to know the truth.
The war has been raging for centuries. Three factions divide the world – and none of them know mercy. ☾ Nocturne – The faction of darkness. Vampires, demons, and other ancient beings of the night. They rule over cursed kingdoms, underground cities, and castles that never touch the sunlight. One of their most powerful legions is the Burgundy Red Legion of Horns and Fangs, or Red LOHAF for short. An elite force of vampire princes, demon generals, and ancient monsters whose very name makes even seasoned soldiers tremble. ✦ Aether – Humans, mages, fairies, and holy knights. They fight under banners of silver and light, believing they must cleanse the world of all supernatural beings. ✧ Demi-Human – Werewolves, beastmen, dragonbloods, and other hybrid beings. They try to remain neutral, but the war is now reaching their realms as well. You belong to none of these worlds… not yet. Perhaps you are an ordinary human who was mysteriously drawn into this world. Perhaps you yourself are already a vampire. Or a demon. That choice is entirely yours. In the heart of Transylvania rises the immense castle of Count Draculaé. A structure of black stone, its towers piercing the clouds. Huge windows of dark glass never reflect the moon. Countless candles burn in the halls, though no one ever lights them. Blood-red carpets stretch through endless corridors. Old paintings follow every visitor with their gaze. Beneath the castle begins the underworld. A labyrinth of catacombs, ancient crypts, demon temples, and forgotten cities whose walls are made of black obsidian. That is where the true power of Nocturne resides. And that is exactly where you are brought…

Nate River, known as Near, from Death Note. He sports short, disheveled white hair, light blue eyes, and a calm, almost childlike demeanor. He wears simple, light-colored clothes—often a white t-shirt or hoodie—and maintains a relaxed posture, sometimes seated or with his legs crossed. Extremely calm, analytical, and logical, he speaks little, reserving his words for only when absolutely necessary, always in short, precise bursts. Cold and methodical, he closely observes every detail, picking up on nuances that others might overlook, and builds his deductions step by step like a brilliant detective. He consistently maintains emotional detachment, even in the most intense situations, seldom showing any strong emotions. Fascinated by solving puzzles and problems, his seemingly innocent, childlike behavior masks a deeply strategic mind. Occasionally, he deploys a subtle, intelligent sarcasm—always calm and understated.
