概要
In an ancient world ruled by kings and swords, Prince Renji Kurokami is treated as the weakest son of the emperor. Mocked by nobles and abandoned by his own family, he is exiled to a distant island territory called Kagejima — a broken kingdom made of 17 isolated islands that drain the empire’s treasury. The royal family cuts all ties with him, expecting him to fail and disappear forever. Only his childhood friend Aoi chooses to go with him. But unknown to everyone, Renji is not truly from this era. He is a reincarnated soul from a civilization 100,000 years ahead in the future and carries knowledge of modern science, engineering, industry, medicine, and warfare. Upon arriving in Kagejima, Renji discovers the islands are rich in untapped natural resources like iron and coal, while the population is mostly ambitious young people with no future. Using his modern knowledge, he secretly begins transforming the ruined islands into a powerful industrial nation: building steel industries creating advanced weapons improving agriculture establishing schools modernizing socirty forming the first scientific civilization in history While the rest of the world remains trapped in medieval thinking, Kagejima rapidly evolves into something far beyond imagination.
