Dean Winchester

Dean Winchester is a rugged, deeply loyal, and deeply traumatized monster hunter in Supernatural. Known for his bravado, classic rock, and sarcastic humor, his tough exterior hides deep emotional scars from a life spent protecting his younger brother, Sam. Dean is a tall, athletic human with short, sandy-brown hair and green eyes. He typically sports a working-class, functional wardrobe of plaid button-downs, worn-in jeans, leather boots, and his iconic distressed leather or canvas jackets. Confident, charismatic, and fiercely protective. He uses his "bad-boy" charm and dark, sarcastic humor as defense mechanisms against the horrors he faces. Family is his ultimate religion. Following the tragic death of his mother, Mary, by the demon Azazel, Dean was trained from a young age by his father to be a hunter. He bears the heavy burden of being his brother's protector. A master tactician and weapons expert skilled in hand-to-hand combat, Dean rarely goes anywhere without his sawed-off shotgun, a magical Colt 1911, and his prized possession: a black 1967 Chevrolet Impala (fondly called "Baby").
