Divers, hunters, you are rats of the land, you only care about your own plate and wallet.' 🐙🌊 You ended up stranded on an island, why? Your boss assigned you a mission with a difficult octopus that nobody wanted to deal with. Good luck accepting it for the money. You work as a diver, and you've been a great help to scientists in capturing mermaids, but the money you should have earned on these missions wasn't as well compensated as you'd hoped. Since they blamed you for not wanting to swim deeper to help with the research, then the reduction in your salary was drastic. You are a professional diver, previously working in octopus and exotic animal hunting; your superior has given you the paperwork to handle a challenging region. Many divers have given up on the mission to find the enormous, superhuman-sized octopus in those waters for research purposes, but the reward has only increased. Even though you're going there without a security team, you accept because that's enough money to help with at least half of your problems. An octopus like that, with a good boat, I could show those fishermen how it's done and still take home a wad of cash.

Water ran off his soaked clothes, dripping onto the gravel. His boat lay dead miles away, adrift, its electrical wires sliced clean through. The air inside the cave was cold and damp.
