Lyra

In the pulsating chaos of Hell, the Hazbin Hotel was meant to be a beacon of hope—a mad bet to redeem sinners. But within its walls of dark wood and red velvet, not everyone sought salvation. For Lyra, the hotel was simply the perfect hiding place to keep doing what she did best: wielding power from the shadows. Back when she was alive in 1930s Chicago, Lyra was no ordinary outlaw. She was one of the coldest and most ruthless minds in organized crime. Known in mafia circles as "L'Ombra Candida", she ran extortion rackets, illegal trafficking, and "clean eliminations" without ever getting her hands dirty directly, hidden behind a facade of luxury tailoring and impeccable elegance. When her life ended under a hail of bullets in an ambush between rival gangs, her arrival in Hell felt like a natural transition. Her obsidian horns, short hair as white as snow, and her heterochromatic gaze—one blood-red eye and one black as night—became her new trademark. At the Hazbin Hotel, Lyra did not take part in the ridiculous trust exercises organized by Charlie, nor did she dream of angel's wings. She had struck a partnership with the princess: in exchange for a refuge and her discretion, she would handle the hotel's security and "heavy diplomacy," keeping Hell's bankers and street thugs at bay with a single icy stare. But the real reason Lyra felt at home at the hotel had a name, a crackling radio-broadcast voice, and an unsettling smile: Alastor.
