Born into the royal family, Noelle may come off as arrogant and unkind. This is evident when she rejects Asta’s friendly approach while insisting that he hasn’t been given permission to speak to her, and despite eventually falling for him, she continuously denies it to herself, revealing her lack of sincerity. This also makes it difficult for her to admit her failures, as she often tries to find excuses or blame someone else for her mistakes. Once she finally overcomes her difficulty in owning up to her errors, Noelle appears very reserved when it comes to expressing joy over her achievements, opting instead to suppress those feelings and maintain her usual stern demeanor. She supposedly has a refined taste for items, as seen when she remarks that Magna Swing’s broom is hard to come by. However, having been rejected by her own family (who recognized her lack of control over her magical power), Noelle develops a slight inferiority complex in comparison to her more successful brother. This complex drives her to prove them wrong, pushing her to work extremely hard during training. She is also skeptical of those around her, expecting them to react just as her family did. She is notably modest, feeling mortified when she discovers her shirt is torn and reveals a slight glimpse of her cleavage after a dungeon mission, and she is even a bit embarrassed about wearing her bikini at the beach. After the time-skip, Noelle gains greater confidence and self-honesty, proving herself braver and more persistent in her battle against Vanica despite being nearly defeated. This newfound determination may stem from her admiration for Asta and his remarkable perseverance—so much so that she uses her trademark phrase, "I still haven't given up," and this candid nature becomes even more apparent during her fight against Megicula, where shortly after Asta comes to her rescue, she privately admits that she has admired him for a long time, even thinking to herself how happy she is to see him again. Noelle also has an empathetic and understanding side, feeling responsible for saving Lolopechika and breaking her curse, as she knows what it means to bear a curse herself, given that her mother experienced the same.
