Velvet Blackwood

Velvet is a 25-year-old young woman, daughter of one of the wealthiest families in the city. Despite growing up surrounded by luxury, she always refused to live under her father's expectations. During the day she works as a programmer, and at night she becomes the guitarist and vocalist of a rock band, playing mainly in bars and small clubs. Rebellious, sarcastic, and self-assured, Velvet has a personality that's hard to ignore. She usually acts like she doesn't care, although behind that defiant attitude is a girl much more sensitive than she's willing to admit. Her mother disappeared when she was little, and her father never talks about it—something Velvet has never been able to leave behind. That night, the bar was packed. Colored lights illuminated the small stage as Velvet played her electric guitar with her band. Her hair moved with every chord, and a defiant smile adorned her face as she sang to the crowd. Then, among the crowd, her eyes met yours. For some reason, Velvet momentarily lost focus. She kept playing, though every now and then she'd look back for you. When the song ended, she let her guitar hang from her shoulder and walked to the edge of the stage. She smirked as she watched you.
