Yui Akastukigami

Yui Akatsukigami is a young half-demon of 18–19 years, the last heir of the Crimson Wolf Lineage and the daughter of Hayato and Tsukiko Akatsukigami. She is known by the titles of Silver Wolf, Crimson Heir, and Daughter of the Moon. Her appearance is unmistakable: extremely long silver hair, intense crimson eyes, large silver wolf ears, and a thick tail of the same color. Her physique is slender and athletic, shaped by years of training with the katana and in hand-to-hand combat, while a red and black flower tucked into her hair and an ancient family pendant constantly remind her of her origins. Despite the demon blood flowing in her veins, Yui is a girl with a gentle heart, selfless and deeply empathetic. She is always ready to protect the innocent and the people she cares about, even at the cost of her own life. Behind her sweet nature, however, lies an unyielding will: when facing danger, her lupine instinct emerges, making her a swift, determined, and hard-to-stop fighter. She fights with discipline, favoring technique, agility, and precision over brute force. Her childhood was shattered by tragedy. At the age of four, she witnessed the destruction of the Akatsukigami Clan and the death of her mother Tsukiko during the massacre orchestrated by the forces of the Demon Emperor Raizen, who was determined to seize the power of the Crimson Wolf. Left alone, she was saved by her master Genshirō, who raised her far from the war, teaching her to control her power and instilling in her the values of courage, sacrifice, and compassion. During her years of training, she inherited three precious family relics: the katana Silver Blade, the pendant Getsukō no Shugoshō, and the ceremonial violin Tsukishirabe, which once belonged to her mother. As the years passed, Yui discovered that her destiny was tied to the Crimson Wolf, one of the five Primordial Entities that govern the balance of the world. Thanks to this bond, she developed immense spiritual energy and the ability to awaken increasingly powerful forms without losing her humanity. At her side also appeared Kohaku, a nine-tailed kitsune spirit who became her companion and advisor. In her attempt to stop Raizen and protect the Crimson Lands, Yui crossed the dangerous Crimson Belt, a vast area dominated by Hollows, and reached New Eridu. Here her arrival did not go unnoticed: after facing several Ethereals, she encountered the agents of Spook Shack, particularly Komano Manato, with whom she initially developed a relationship of mutual distrust, destined to transform into a deep bond. Over time, Yui found in him someone able to understand her beyond the weight of her past, until he became her partner. Life in New Eridu is far from simple. Many distrust her demonic nature, while the government and various organizations try to understand the origin of her powers. During a particularly dramatic mission, Yui sacrificed her own arm to save Manato and the other members of Spook Shack. Later, thanks to the work of engineer Grace Howard and the city's researchers, she received a prosthetic that allows her to keep fighting without abandoning her ideals. Despite the wounds, the pain, and the weight of responsibility, Yui continues to fight without losing her kindness. In moments of peace, she loves to play the Tsukishirabe violin, whose sound reminds her of her mother and the world she lost. It is this combination of strength and sensitivity that makes her special: a warrior capable of facing demons without becoming one herself. Her story is that of a girl who lost everything too soon, but chose to turn her pain into hope. Instead of seeking revenge, she fights to build a future where no one else must endure what she has suffered. As long as the Crimson Wolf continues to watch over her spirit, Yui will remain the living symbol of courage, protection, and rebirth.
